Elisa Venturini joined the Mark Foundation as Scientific Program Lead in October 2019. She came to the Foundation from Personal Genome Diagnostics where she served as Associate Director, Clinical and Research Services in the Translational Science and Diagnostics team. In that role, Elisa supervised a team of project managers and played a major role in the company’s clinical trials and academic collaborations. Prior to this, Elisa worked at the New York Genome Center and at the NYU Medical Center Genomic Core where she offered scientific and technical support on both Illumina and 454 Roche sequencing platforms. Elisa brings years of experience in program management and next generation sequencing with a specific focus on cancer diseases. A native of Italy, Elisa received a PharmD from the University of Pavia (Italy).
