2022 INTERNATIONAL AGENCY FOR RESEARCH ON CANCER - MARK FOUNDATION POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW

Wellington Oliveira dos Santos, PhD, The International Agency for Research on Cancer

Wellington Oliveira dos Santos, PhD

Dr. Oliveira dos Santos’ project objective is to identify mutational signatures and characterize the microbiome profile of early-age onset colorectal cancer tumor samples and combine the findings with patient’s epidemiological information (demographics, lifestyle and exposure), to elucidate probable causes and biological mechanisms related to the onset of these tumors and to apply this knowledge to cancer prevention and treatment management.
