CD8+ T cells are vital for fighting cancer, yet they often struggle to effectively combat brain metastases. With her EACR-Mark Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship, Dr. Mazet is using advanced cellular and molecular techniques to identify the precise biological processes that limit CD8+ T cells’ effectiveness in the brain.
