Ian Lesser joined The Mark Foundation as Finance and Administration Manager in July 2023. Though Ian started out wanting to be a physician, he also took to finance, strategy, and operations. Prior to joining The Mark Foundation, Ian was the Head of Business Administration at Performance Optimal Health. There, he combined his love for healthcare with his passion for organizational effectiveness and finance. Ian began his career as CFO/COO of a commercial talent agency that he co-founded in 2000 before moving on to management consultancy 17 years later. While in management consultancy he helped to optimize and achieves strategic organizational goals for founders at various growth stages by drawing on his extensive experience with helping organizations scale. Ian also held the role of Head of US Operations for a global ad tech company. Ian attended Emory University and earned a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas – Austin. Ian lives in Westchester County with his husband and son.
